The exhibition Forme e Colori - Artists in Bossolasco is a project of local art, born with the intention of renewing the need for art in a town in which artist such as Enrico Paulucci and Francesco Menzio have long since stayed.
The exhibition features 34 artists manly from Piedmont, almost all of them have been trained at the Academy Albertina and there are also some artists that have been “adopted” by Piedmont. All of the artists are established, some even beyond this region, others of national importance and several are known outside of Italy. The objective of the initiative is purely cultural: an exhibition that represents the occasion to highlight the protagonists and the artistic production of our territory. An exhibition that not only makes it possible to get recognition for a town of art but also as an opportunity to emerge from the economic crisis. The entire organization is carried out by volunteers who offer their time and abilities free of charge to prepare the event. TO GIVE BACK LIFE TO THE “DEAD HOUSES” These uncared for, uninhabited, forgotten houses that with time they seem to be dead, transmit a great sadness to those who gaze upon them. The goal, achieved in the first edition - 2013 is to bring them back to life. “With of all these emotions hanging on the walls, I can see them and I can feel them being reborn and living with us and with all of the artists that have participated in this event” (A volunteer) These works of art bring Bossolasco back to what it used to be and what we want it to be: a place of art that welcomes and loves people, a place of tranquillity, inspirations and serenity, where the artists can draw energy and sensibility for their art, and where the public can admire them. |
